Everything About Climbing Mount Meru

Mount Meru is a dormant stratovolcano located in Arusha National Park, Tanzania. Standing at 4,566 meters (14,980 feet), it is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania and the fifth-highest in Africa.

Along the way, you'll encounter colobus monkeys, buffalo, and stunning views of Kilimanjaro and the Maasai Steppe.

The climb takes 3-4 days and offers a challenging yet rewarding experience with a 95% success rate. The route starts at Momella Gate (1,500m) and passes through Arusha National Park, home to diverse wildlife and bird species.
