6 Days Machame Route Kilimanjaro

From $1,850 / person

๐Ÿ“‹ Tour Overview

The Machame Route is one of the most popular and scenic routes to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, earning the nickname 'Whiskey Route' for the climber's pubs found along the way. This six-day itinerary offers excellent acclimatization with a challenging but rewarding climb through diverse ecosystems, from lush rainforest to alpine desert and finally to the arctic summit zone.

Each day brings new landscapes and challenges as you ascend through five distinct climate zones. The route's natural beauty, including the stunning Shira Plateau and the dramatic Barranco Wall, makes it a favorite among trekkers. With experienced guides, quality equipment, and carefully planned acclimatization, you will be well-prepared to reach Uhuru Peak, the Roof of Africa at 5,895 meters.
