Tour Highlights
📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary
Drive to Umbwe Gate (1640m) and begin the steep ascent through dense rainforest. The trail is challenging from the start. Reach Umbwe Camp (2850m).
Continue ascending through moorland and past the Barranco Wall. Reach Barranco Camp (3960m) with stunning views of the Breach Wall.
Cross the Barranco Wall and trek to Karanga Camp (4000m). The terrain is challenging but the views are spectacular.
Trek to Barafu Camp (4640m) and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.
Midnight start for the summit attempt. Reach Uhuru Peak (5895m) at sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp (3100m).
Descend to Mweka Gate (1630m). Certificate ceremony and transfer to hotel or airport.
