📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary
Drive to Lemosho Gate (2100m) and trek through lush rainforest to Big Tree Camp (2750m). Watch for colobus monkeys and diverse birdlife.
Ascend through moorland to Shira Camp (3845m) on the stunning Shira Plateau. The landscape opens up with panoramic mountain views.
Ascend to Lava Tower (4630m) for lunch, then descend to Barranco Camp (3960m) for excellent acclimatization.
Cross the Barranco Wall and trek to Karanga Camp (4000m). The terrain is challenging but the views are spectacular.
Trek to Barafu Camp (4640m) and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.
Midnight start for the summit attempt. Reach Uhuru Peak (5895m) at sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp (3100m).
Descend to Mweka Gate (1630m). Certificate ceremony and transfer to hotel or airport.
